EPA Certification Exam Prep
Environmental Protection Agency Section 608 Technician Certification
The EPA has set certification guidelines for HVAC Technicians that require technicians to be knowledgeable and to have the proper skills to safely and efficiently handle Class 1 and Class 2 substances. This review class will cover all aspects of these rules and regulations, which will enable the technician to easily pass the EPA Section 608 Core and Type II Tests for certification.
The review class is 4–5 hours long and technicians are allowed 2 hours to take the test.

NATE Certification Review
North American Technician Excellence CORE & Heat Pump Specialty Test Prep
NATE Certification is acquired by passing a series of knowledge based tests, and we now offer a complete review for the Core and Heat Pump tests.
This is a full day of training that covers the Core section in the morning and the Heat Pump section that same afternoon. The certification tests are offered on the second day, hopefully while the information is still fresh on the minds of the technician.

Tuition for each class includes study materials. Other specialty tests can be administered at the request of the technician.

Private Classes
Privately Held Training Sessions to Fit Your Staff’s Needs
Private classes are a great option for busy dealers who still want to keep their staff up to date with new product training, refresher courses, and certification. These sessions can be catered to the specific needs of your company and held at a date and time that is convenient for you. And with smaller groups of students that already know each other, everyone benefits from increased class participation.
The subject matter of each class is up to you. Examples include new product information and updates, Airflow, Principles of Air Conditioning & Heat Pumps, EPA review and testing, and NATE review and testing.
Private classes can be held at your offices or at another location of your choosing.
There is no required minimum number of students, and Epting Distributors will supply all needed materials. You bring the students and provide the location; we do the rest.
There is no charge for most private classes. EPA and NATE classes are charged at the normal rate; however, there is no extra charge for private sessions of these classes. (EPA=$125 per person, NATE = $450 per person.)
